Greetings disc golfers and we hope to see you at the Louisiana Mach 1 Championships, to be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana!
The Louisiana Mach 1 Championships are named for Bogue Chitto State Park’s 9 antique Mach 1 DGA baskets that were the predecessors to today’s modern disc golf entrapment devices. Boasting relatively few chains and a shallow dish, these baskets require a bit of putting finesse.
First round, everyone will play the 9 red tees twice for 18 holes (except Open who will play 9 red/9 white the first round).
Round 2, everyone will play the 9 white tees once. So the tournament will be 27 holes.
Entry fees:
All pro divisions $32 (Open, Masters, Grandmasters, Pro Ladies)
All am divisions $22 (Advanced, Adv. Master, Intermediate, Novice, Am Ladies)
— all pro divisions will have a minimum 125% payout
— all am divisions will receive a players pack and will have a minimum 125% payout
First round tee-off at 9:00 AM. There is a $2 per person fee to enter the park.

Directions to Bogue Chitto State Park: From I-12, take US 190 north to Hwy. 25. Travel approximately 22 miles, then turn right onto Fisher Road, then an immediate left onto Bogue Chitto Drive (follow signs into park). Once in the park turn right, then after almost one mile turn right onto Bullock Road and follow signs to “Meeting Room”.
The first tee is immediately to the right upon entering the parking lot for the meeting room.
